So, the house went on the market today. I’m a little excited. I hope there is interest in the house, we had someone call yesterday to see the house, but we said “No, it’s not ready yet.” Mom thinks that may have been our only call. Come on, someone called the day before the house even hit the market. It’s like people who can smell garage sales, you know, the ones that show up a couple of hours or a day before the sale starts to see if there is anything of interest.
I hope the house sells quickly. I want to move this summer, so I can have a vacation from work.
I just found out that there have been two visits to the house already today, with another two visits scheduled tonight, and another tomorrow evening. I hope people are interested in it.
Today in Gay News: Ontario Court of Appeal has upheld a lower courts ruling for the right to same-sex marriage. Good news to all people in Ontario, now anyone can marry whomever they want to without having to worry about it being against the law in that province. Hopefully this will be like a house-of-cards scenario with all the other provinces in Canada to follow suit. Canada will ensure the rights of all people within this country. No one should have to feel sub-human when they are in love with someone and marriage is in the question. This is not a question of privilege, but a right for all people. Now, let’s sit back and see if the ruling stands.

My Current Favourite Dish: Some French Boys who work for CBC Television. They are sweeeet.
Current Addiction: Where’s Your Head At by Basement Jaxx (song from the Pringles commercial with the really cute head-bouncing guy, and the Tomb Raider soundtrack)
In the DVD Player: Nixon: Director’s Cut (I’ve got the original release, but I’ve been looking for this one for a while, but not hard enough I guess. I found it at Blockbuster on sale.)
On the Tube: Six Feet Under (The season finale was a cop-out, but still interesting. The last half of the season lagged on.)

I know, I know. You can spank me, I’ve been bad. I’m not so good at keeping things up-to-date and current. I haven’t updated my website for years, mind you, I don’t have lots of things to add to my site. I haven’t painted anything in almost 4 years. I’ve done a few sketches and drawings, but haven’t gone any further with them. I really should set a deadline and get some pieces done and possibly do a show.
I got back on Monday from a trip to Yorkton and Manitoba. I was in Yorkton to attend a short film festival. Had some fun and met some cool people. I had more fun this year than last year, I guess I had better company to spend time with. But the entries in this year’s festival sucked royally compared to last year’s festival. There weren’t a lot of good short films, actually most were pretty bad. I screened a couple of them that peaked an interest.
I left Yorkton on Saturday around lunchtime. I stopped at McDonald’s to grab some munchies for the road. I almost didn’t have enough money for my meal. It came to $5.54, so I tried to put it on my bank card, but it said Insufficient Funds. So I looked in my wallet and pulled out all the change I had, for a total of $3.54. I put the other $2.00 on my card. How pathetic is that??? At least I had something to eat.
On my way to Manitoba I was pulled over. The cop came up to the Tek, here’s the script of what happened.
Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Me: Uh, no. Seatbelt?
Cop: No. I clocked you at 122 kilometers per hour.
Me: Oh. Ouch.
Then he asked for my licence and registration. So I gave it to him and proceeded to fill out the WARNING notice for 15 minutes. It wasn’t even a ticket, and it took that long! Anyway, the cop’s outfit was nice, he probably looks like a slob or something out of uniform. Nice butt, though.
Nothing happened on the way home.

My Current Favourite Dish: Baseball Players and Surfers
Current Addiction: Where’s Your Head At by Basement Jaxx (song from the Pringles commercial with the really cute head-bouncing guy, and the Tomb Raider soundtrack)
In the DVD Player: Absolutely Fabulous: the Complete Series (the first three series). I have yet to get the newest series.
On the Tube: Six Feet Under (waiting for the season finale, hopefully next week)
